To encourage the development of quality activities of all types in
the field of air and space, to enhance and enrich the scientific,
technical, cultural and human legacy, to disseminate knowledge
and to provide a focus for activities.
To achieve its aims of promoting high level thinking on air and space issues, the AAE
comprises 231 members and 125 correspondents.
Members hold or have held significant responsibilities in their fields from a wide variety of
backgrounds: engineers, industrialists, researchers, managers, pilots, astronauts, doctors,
lawyers, economists, journalists, writers and artists all work together.
