ACP/LDC Sugarcane Industries Group

The ACP/LDC Sugarcane Industries Group is formed of representatives of sugar industries (both millers and growers) supplying ACP/LDC tariff free imports listed in Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EC) No 2015/1550, plus South Africa.

The Terms of Reference for the ACP/LDC Sugar Industries Group include:
= To develop an effective and coherent single voice for all members of the Group;
= To coordinate Group views on EU market management methods and regulations and to be ready as requested to discuss these with the EC in concert with the ACP Ambassadorial Group in Brussels (OACPS);
= To be the focal point for organizing as required the submission of information on supply data directly by members to the European Commission and to participate in meetings with the EC as required;
= To support and advise the Organization of ACP States Secretariat (OACPS) in Brussels on matters related to sugar.
