The Anti-Corruption Action Centre (AntAC) was established in 2012 to promote the transparency and accountability of public bodies and fight against corruption in Ukraine.
The AntAC team ensured that Ukraine adopted and implemented strong anti-corruption legislation, including the laws on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s office, the High Anti-Corruption Court, the High Council of Justice, open property registers, and electronic asset declarations.
The organisation conducts oversight over critical issues concerning corruption and watchdogs public procurement.
AntAC aims to strengthen Ukraine’s path toward EU integration by performing civil society oversight of reforms under Chapters 23 (Judiciary and Fundamental Rights) and 24 (Justice, Freedom, and Security) of the EU acquis.
