Artikel2 (A2) is a politically and religiously independent NGO working for ecological, social and economic sustainability, grounded in the principle of equality in Article 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our purpose is to raise awareness of sustainable consumption and circular resource management, and to promote human rights, equality and participation among the public and decision-makers. We emphasise the rights of marginalised groups and young people, ensuring their voices, perspectives and influence are central. A2 combines practical initiatives such as circular economy projects and labour market integration with structural change through advocacy, knowledge-sharing and international cooperation. The overall goal of our international development cooperation is to strengthen civil society and increase respect for human rights, with a particular focus on Western Sahara.
