CRIN's overall vision is a world in which children’s rights are recognised, respected and enforced and where every rights violation has a remedy. We are a creative think tank producing dynamic perspectives on children’s rights. We push for rights, not charity and challenge the status quo because the norms that dictate children’s place in society need radical change. Through research, artwork and our vision for the future, we encourage people to think critically about the world. CRIN’s work at the EU level focuses on how children’s rights are impacted by various issues, including new technologies and environmental issues, with a focus on chemicals legislation. Childhood exposure to hazardous chemicals implicates numerous rights violations, including the right to life, survival and development, the right to health, and the right to an adequate standard of living and a healthy environment. We advocate for stronger legislation to protect children from such exposure.
