Cruelty Free Europe is a network of animal protection groups in the EU and its neighbours with a presence at the heart of EU decision-making, working to end animal testing across Europe. Working with EU bodies and the public, Cruelty Free Europe seeks to ensure animals used in experiments in Europe are taken seriously on the European political agenda and to campaign for humane modern science and progressive legislation. The power of Cruelty Free Europe lies in combining the expertise and focus of a central team of science and regulatory experts with the national perspective, skills and energy of associate member groups across the countries of Europe.
With a broad geographical spread, associates bring knowledgeable, dedicated national voices to the table, sharing that expertise with others and with the central team. Cruelty Free Europe is inclusive and works in a focused way. The organisation holds two Associate Member meetings a year, one of which is hosted in person an associate.
