The European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) works for more and better cycling for all in Europe. ECF is committed to publicising the huge benefits cycling can unlock for the climate, mobility and societal well-being. To achieve these aims, ECF analyses transport policy and legislation, publishes research and informs decision makers how to integrate cycling in transport systems. ECF harnesses the power of local, regional and national cycling movements and networks to facilitate best practice exchange and motivate support for cycling.

We promote and encourage cycling as an economic, efficient, healthy and environmentally friendly means of transport and recreation. We function as a federation of pro-cycling civil society organisations, representing tens of millions of European citizens who cycle.

ECF's goals are to have more people cycling for transport and leisure, integrate cycling into public policy and improve road safety for people who cycle.
