ePURE represents the interests of European renewable ethanol producers to the EU institutions, industry stakeholders, the media, academia and the general public.
Based in Brussels, ePURE speaks for 39 member companies and associations (including 21 producers), with around 50 plants in 16 EU Member States and the UK, accounting for about 85% of EU renewable ethanol production.
Our mission is to promote the use of renewable ethanol in Europe by contributing in a constructive and proactive manner to the development and implementation of EU policies and legislation that empower our industry to deliver economic and societal benefits. We pursue this by providing expert advice and input to the EU institutions, Member State governments, Brussels-based stakeholders and wider society.
