The Global CCS Institute is an international think tank whose mission is to accelerate the deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS), a vital technology to tackle climate change and provide energy security. The Institute shares expertise, builds capacity and provides advice and support to drive the adoption of CCS as cost-effectively, safely, and reliably as possible, so that it can play its part in reducing GHG emissions globally.

Our objectives:
- Provide authoritative knowledge-sharing;
- Offer fact-based advice and advocacy;
- Create favourable conditions to implement CCS;
- Increase public understanding and acceptance of CCS;
- Increase commercial opportunities for CCS.
