HateAid is a non-profit organisation founded in 2018 and headquartered in Berlin. We advocate for human rights in the digital sphere and combat digital violence and its consequences at both social and political levels. HateAid supports people affected by online violence through counselling and litigation funding.

How we operate:

1. Counselling: Emotionally supporting people affected by digital violence. We offer nationwide assistance through emotional, communicative and cyber-security counselling.

2. Litigation financing: Bringing perpetrators to justice and empower those affected. HateAid enables those affected to take legal action against hate on the internet without bearing the risk of a court case.

3. Advocacy: Advising European policymakers and the German Parliament. We are also being consulted as an expert by various stakeholders, including the judiciary and police.

4. Public Relations: Raising awareness through political campaigns.
