Many European Jews themselves are refugees or the descendants of refugees and identify with the plight of today’s refugees and asylum seekers. HIAS Europe supports the efforts of Jewish communities across Europe in their efforts to protect refugees around the world and to welcome and integrate newly arrived refugees in Europe.
