Recycling Europe’s main objectives are to promote and represent, at EU level and in Brussels, the interests of the European recovery and recycling industries, including recyclers.

To this end, Recycling Europe:
- Provides its members with information, analysis, and advice on EU regulatory and policy developments relevant to recycling activities
- Represents and advocates the industry’s positions at EU level on relevant policy and regulatory initiatives
- Builds and maintains constructive relations with the European institutions and with relevant stakeholders on policy and regulatory matters affecting the recycling sector
- Communicates the contribution of recycling to sustainable development, including its role in creating economic opportunities and enhancing environmental protection

Recycling Europe brings together national associations, companies and other stakeholders active in the recovery and recycling sector and is represented in 24 EU and EFTA countries.
